Good food at the breakfast bar (waffles, eggs, sausage, juice, toast). The place had a very cute, quaint, vintage feel that my husband and I loved. Friendly staff, very economically proceed for the area. Lots of remodel work going on but it looks like they're doing some fabulous upgrades. We're planning on a return trip. Very happy with my stay.

The place looks like it has potential. The place is under construction and pretty beat up - it needs a lot of work everywhere. If I had to do it again I would pay a little more for another hotel. I might consider staying in the future after the full remodel is completed but not until then. When I booked over the phone there wasn't any mention of the pool being shut down which might have changed where I booked as I was traveling with kids. Front desk guy that checked us in on the evening of 7/6 was nice.

Did not refund the deposit yet even after a week. No damages were done to the room nor were any recorded when I talked to the receptionist a few days later. No manager has called to talk to me about this to advise why deposit has not been returned. We had no pets and do not smoke. Upon arrival most buttons on the remote control did not work. Upon arrival also there was crayon drawing in the furniture (this was not by my children, did someone neglect to realize it was there before we got there?)

Was trying to book a stay for 3 days. I call & was told call back in 20 min. So I waited over 20 min & called again. Again she said call back in 20 min rudely. I said that's what you said over 20 min ago. She replied now you can call back in an hour. WOW so impressed by the service here. I work in the hotel industry and this is unacceptably. Not impressed what so ever.

The only reason I give this motel a 1 star is because I can't leave zero stars. The staff here were rude and some of them couldn't understand English. They wouldn't let us leave the breakfast area with food or drinks. The room was shoddy and the decor was mish mash. Like it was in a transition of being remodeled or something. The hair dryer didn't work, the TV had a section across the screen that was a bright color, the shower leaked all over the floor. It was also very difficult to get towels and toilet paper as well as they had to keep a proper "count" of everything. I really recommend not staying here. Anywhere else is better than this place.
